I called him to ask for a copy of
Microsoft Office XP.
“Happy Anniversary,” I said.
“What’s the date today?” he asked. “I thought our
anniversary was the tenth.”
My eyes water.
I laugh and say, “Hey, remember that MS
Office disc you made for me? Well, I need
another copy.”
And I cry in silence while he responds.
