You still haunt my dreams

with your wicked smiles and

passionate screams...

it burns to breathe and

it stings to see

but I can’t find any reason to be

the way that I am when nothing but good

can come from this life,

or at least things that could

make me get over you,

make me move on,

instead I continue singing this song

of misery and sadness

and the desolate black,

I keep mowing over the

memories back

to when I used to smile

and you used to laugh

and nothing in the world

could hold my love back,

and then it all tumbles

back to the floor

and creeps beneath my

stainless steel doors

to where it belongs,

hidden safely and sound

as I continue spinning

till I fall to the ground.
