I wrote this poem in Sept 2000 I am a Bird Watcher. Thinking of the freedom of the birds, I started thinking of myself as a bird and thus this poem was created

The Cajun Bird Sings because she cannot cry

In the early morn she breaks out in song

She gives praise to God on high before she wings it  in into the sky

If  God takes care of every living thing, why not you and I?

Do not worry, do not have a care, Trust in  God; do not take dare

The earth as we know it, passes away but God is here forever they say

So the Cajun Bird sings and goes on her way knowing God will take care of her each and every day

I know because I am that Cajun Bird

Faith in God is without end
