Just relax and enjoy life. Don't live to work. Work so you can live.
Our lives are so filled,
With tension and stress.
We work hard all week.
We study and go to classes.
We do the best,
The very best we can.
Most of the time,
Our work is unrewarded.
Some people find,
They can't handle it.
Some turn to drugs,
And burn out.
Some to turn to alcohol,
And drink out.
Some kill themselves,
And bail out.
Our society is tough.
This pressure,
To be the best,
To be the fastest,
To be the smartest,
Can be overwhelming.
We must though,
Always remember
To be true to ourselves.
We must never let the pressure
Of being number one
Run our lives.
We are only here,
For a very short time.
So we can't
Get so caught up,
In the grand competition
That we can not enjoy,
The pleasure of life itself.
