Among the Olympus Gods was a void in someone's place, and, in need to be corrected I took the temerity to go up there, because no one of you would, so, in the name of Poets and Poetesses...

They said that the gods are immortal
and that no mortal can be a god, but,
if you have lived nearly hundred years,
that silly rule, for you, does not apply.

To prove it, I climbed MOUNT OLYMPUS
with the intention of confronting ZEUS,
not as a subject seeking the King's approval, but,
as a new god, the one with poems that seduce.

ZEUS's brother, POSEIDON, prodding me
with his trident, was absolutely not amused,
telling the OLYMPUS KING that I was mad
and no mortal ever be allowed such abuse.

HERA, Queen of the Gods and ZEUS wife,
proposed for the cheeky intruder a truce,
a mortal climbing to the OLYMPUS's top
surely enough have earned a gracious excuse.

ARTEMIS, the hunter's goddess sided
with POSEIDON, the Seas King, to execute
a letal action, while HADES, God of the
Underworld, a word for sanctuary produced.

PERSEPHONE, wife of HADES wasn't having
any intruder which wanted with the Gods to fuse,
HEPHAISTOS, God of Fire agree, and so did
ARES, God of War, "the newcomer had, for us, no use"

HERMES, agreeing with the above saw ATENE's,
Wisdom Goddess, look of disapproval hues,
the MESSENGER added in his defense that he,
just deliver the eggs, don't go and kill the goose.

Surprise! revolt of the Goddesses on my side,
HESTIA, Home and Hearth Goddess refused
as well it did APHRODITE, Love Goddess
with a nod from DEMETER, the Earth Sprucer.

DYONISIOS, Son of ZEUS, and the Wine's God
raised his golden chalice to me, he was for truce,
while APOLLO, the one over Art, Archery and
Divination, was drunk as well and hadn't a clue.

In the end, ZEUS proclaimed that I was right and
that it should be a God over Poems that infuse
with a whisper of rhymes, immortality to life, and that
the new God's name will be POET, the God's Seducer.
