One turns around and find himself alone in an enormous forest made not of trees but of people, yet...
Where goes the traveler
after going around the world
searching for a something forever,
an Eldorado that's never found?
Where goes the flying pigeon
when its wings become too old
to hide inside postcard landscapes
without the image of winter's cold?
Where goes the withering flowers
when their life becomes all brown
and fading perfumes walked the winds
with a sense of beauty that got lost?
Where goes the rain that passed by
and didn't gave us a little drop,
concealing its round white pearls
inside a mother-of-pearl-cloud?
Where goes the ominous time
that just went and didn't stop,
are going to meet the younger ones
or will it come back to take the old?
Where goes bitter solitude when
separate ones becomes a two,
perhaps enshrouded by a kiss of love
or in a lie that becomes a truth?
Where goes everything?
the answer in the riddle will you find,
nothing ever came or even went, and,
you can't lose what you never had.

I WAS READING WORD AFTER WORD AND CRYING!!!!!!! IT IS BIG HAPPINESS WHEN A POET CAN WRITE POEM, LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!! THIS SENTENCES WILL LIVE FOREVER, THEY WILL FILL READERS HEART WITH HEAVENLY BEAUTY!!!!!!!!! Liana Margiva
A great write, a bit sad...because many of the wonderful things that I grew up knowing are now a thing of the past...just as many things that we enjoy, admire, and adore are also slowly becoming a thing of the past! I guess the old cliche is true...all good things come to an end...enjoyed!

Each event in our lives takes on different hues according to our age environment, mood, etc, so my answer may be different today than it would have been, say a year ago. Excellent thought provoker George!
Awwwww, such a shame, all good things must come to an end eventually. Maybe that is the reason we appreciate beauty because we all know it just cannot last. Enjoyed.
Truly, we own little and borrow much...what we have in this lifetime as far as tangible things are concerned offer us no service in the next dimension. Perhaps what we witness is change and not loss at all. Perhaps is is all an illusion of our own making. Wonderful poem, Georg, you cast a lot of bread upon the water.
Take care,
Sherry
I remember this feeling while traveling the LAX, wondering where is everyone going and where are they coming from...
I felt like an ant in a maze of thoughts!
Excellent thought-provoking piece!

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust as all waters flow to the ocean.
When I have too much, why do I worry
about it. I give a lot away, or have a
yard sale.
I know I'm off the beaten path, but I
would rather never had...most material things..
Great poem

Wise parable in poetic form Georg is so true cannot lose what you never had. I loved this one and the art.
Reflections and Nature Watercolors is a collection of Margaret's spontaneous positive thoughts in celebrating and reflecting on life and her nature watercolors.
