This poem was inspired by the writes of Felix LeRoy Perry's "POETIC THOUGHTS OF THE WEE HOURS" posted here at the Den.
At three in the morning sometimes I have the humor in foul mode...

Poem Artwork

The pain of today are clouding
like today did with yesterday,
the sight of promising tomorrow,
inside my mind, a spider’s web.

A spider’s web waiting for a thought
to come, to be devoured, again,
because the spider like old things,
of poems carcasses she will fed.

She will fed the entrapped ones
inside a brain that’s going insane,
solitude does that to anybody
that quietly submit to its chains.

Submit to its chains, forget freedom,
look around the world, nobody cares
if you die inside a muddy war fox hole
or begging for clemency as a slave.

As a slave, entrapped of the spiders
that strongest of all the mighty webs,
the one across the mouth of the void
occupying everything inside my head.

Reminds me of "come into my den, said the spider to the fly." Beware all life's trappings -some will consumer you, some will set you free. Stay vigilant in all you do. There is an awful lot to "digest" after reading this poem.

I could almost see someone or something squirming to be released from that web so carefully woven. Perhaps after the first morning light the solitude will pass and your spirit will be set free....

Be safe,
Karen

Wow Georg,

Wonderful beginning. Your poem is a familiar place I thought only I have been. Too many directions, making too much noise, running around up there and way too many judges. I've been told the worst place to be is in my head.

writing and ideas superb.

love,
Kathy

Well I am indeed honored my friend that one of my simple writes should conjure up and inspire such vivid and intriquing images for you to share with us. I love the way a halloween flare is mingled with the reality of your own world to create this stunning piece my friend.

Most interesting thoughts, my friend. I find that solitude can be either a prison or total freedom, and we truly do have the power to decide which it is.

"Getting Solitude Crazy" is a profound composition that stimulates the mind on social affairs, and calls one on alert to THE SALVEYARDS that are in CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS,~ because people ALLOW.

A poetic bouquet diffusing the scent of Justice... "Getting Solitude Crazy"
abounds in wisdom and art.

In gratitude and reverent admiration,
