Never led anyone sad to nurse their tears alone, share the pain and it will seems less, tell words of comfort and the silence will seems lighter...

Poem Artwork

Hugging the girl after she stopped crying,
my heart bled with every and each thorn
that was piercing hers, but my own tears
couldn’t wash away her sense of abandon.

Like seeing a beautiful rose dismembering
petal by petal by unseen fingers, it alone
make me to hate those insensitive hands
that were destroying beauty from my world.

She looked up to my face with pleading eyes
like asking that eternal why? But it was none
to be answered when she was asking me,
because with another man she was in love.

I am the one that always go behind, retrieving
the broken pieces that for many hearts fall,
no to mend the pieces of foundered feelings,
but to offer to the crying one a tender word.

I am wandering on the empty streets of my life,
no broken pieces will ever fell from me as I go,
one can get broken what we never, ever had,
when there is not a queen, it will be not a drone.

The girl’s tears that fell down on that lovely face
have dried up, the cause for them almost gone,
in my arms, she looked up at me, a pleading smile,
“if I forgive him, do you think that he will come?”

I couldn’t think, I couldn’t say, because my heart
she was stabbing with those unforgiving thorns,
not seeing me but pieces of the past and future,
where our present was just not altogether born.

Georg, your heart is so beautiful. Too beautiful to feel this pain. Know that you are loved by those of us here. This made me cry that she would hurt you so. Be strong my dear.

Like seeing a beautiful rose dismembering
petal by petal by unseen fingers...(this line drew me into your poem)

She looked up to my face with pleading eyes
like asking that eternal why? (this one even further...)

couldn’t think, I couldn’t say, because my heart
she was stabbing with those unforgiving thorns,
not seeing me but pieces of the past and future,
where our present was just not altogether born
(and the last stanz...made me cry...)

Your compassion surpasses most, therefore you will never, ever "be alone"
Excellent Georg!
Absolutely EXCELLENT!
Love and Peace~

Georg,

You reached in and gave this reader's heart a squeeze...believable sadness, born from experience, your own pain, perhaps? Well written.

Georg, You deserve better than unrequited love, look for a "real" lover, that will satisfy your desires and dreams.
Forget about those who do not understand you, or who are so selfish to see the real you.
This poem really speaks to me, thank you.
Peace, Love, and Light,
