What can I say, from the mouth of drunks, crazy people and children....
Oh ye, oh ye, hear hear!!!

Poem Artwork

dear mister president:
I am the little boy
that my daddy said
“the man of the house”
but you see,
need your help ‘couse
am just little over
six years old,
and can’t stop the tears
of mommy all alone,
when there’s news
about your beloved war,
and she hears of another
soldier not coming home.

dear mister president:
if all your dear friends
wanted so much that oil,
they are very welcome
to go out there,
it is their money
they will fighting for, nor
grandpa’s on food-stamps
(a veteran from other war)
that other mister president
said it was to be fought,
so we will no need ever
to fight no more,
so, let the rich fight this time
and just send my daddy home.

respenctantofolly yours

Yes ... and our Congress is deliberating and deliberating and deliberating in committees about legislation which will not pass the president, and we are waiting for our sons and daughters to come home, and Hillary is killing Obama with an MSN photo, and the republicans do not have a candidate to field in this next election, and gas prices are too high, and the democrats have nothing to offer which makes any sense. I would like to take all of today's power-hungry politicians, lock them together in a closed arena, arm them to the teeth, and let them kill each other until I kill the last surviving one who walks out the arena door. Then, maybe we can seriously elect some employees to run our government. They will not be graft-corrupted politicians -- they will be employees like our founding fathers intended. So mote it be!

And gasoline is still over $3.00 a gal regular
The rich get richer and the poor send their kids to die
for that "filty black gold" same reason Japan Bombarded Pearl Harbor
Brother, Peace be with us and mankind

This poem tears at my heart. The truths that you extol should enlighten politicians, but ... Well said, my friend.

God bless you. Kathy

Unfortunately war is said to be the only way to have peace, and as contradictory as that sounds we have been trying for hundreds of years to experience that peace...not in this generation, I'm afraid...e

Let the rich fight this time,( or any other time) Rember when I said everybody should stand on that wall to fight....Well if the story of a child doesn't do it for Cheny, or his helper Bush, what will? Well done! Jasmin Horst

Very good and if the world listened to the children more it might be a whole lot better place to live.

Sad. Remember Who'll Stop the Rain? Well, right now it's Who'll Stop the War?

Out of the mouths of babes; what a heartbreaker this one is! So sad what war is doing to all, even the little children! God help us!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in America, Karen Lynn in Texas. :(
