Since when we found fear as toddlers, experience in our life expanse has indexed our fears, some of them so outrageous unfounded yet so leaning to happen...

Poem Artwork

A stone rolling down the mountain,
like the final voyage of an old man
towards that void full of unknown
where you find fear of fear so afraid.

The river started up on the mountain
gaining speed like a suicidal old man
running towards the unknown void,
don’t want for his last train to arrive.

The clouds, perched on the mountain,
could hold no more, like the old man,
so many tears accumulated by pain
falling inconsolable down, like rain.

Eagles are flying above the mountain
like the spirit of that running old man,
with thoughts rolling like the stones
just for the heck of one more time…

Before morning came and with the sun
we can see, gone forever, the old man
and why fears are of the mighty fear
without any reason…so afraid.

This is really great work Georg...you express fear and its emotion within thoughts that take one on a visual escapade of highs and lows from within the mind...

truly nice work...

...fear...water moving down full force...with emotional mud to slip in...ageless fear of age...if only we could look up and still understand the brightness of suns tears.
excellent Georg...

Wow--you just penned one of my nightmares.
Seems the older we get, the more fears accumulate until it is life itself we fear.
Very moving.

Fear should be embraced and turned into boldness of spirit..
You are not old, you are just beginning to become mature..lol
Wonderful poem.

The horizon can be filled with so many memories of what could be. Yet, there are the forgotten treasures of good friends, and family that ultimately make life so worth living. Enjoyed

Eagles are flying above the mountain
like the spirit of that running old man

As long as our spirits continue to attempt to soar like those eagles, I truly think we'll be OK, no matter our age.

PS Did Jersey give you permission to use his latest picture??!!
