I saw this EPSON photo in a magazine and it inspired me about what every father, without exception, should tell his newborn son or daughter and to listen at what those unfocused eyes are saying to him...

I can’t remember when I saw the first one
wrapped in a cocoon like a butterfly
that little thing that make you so weak
when being so powerful you hold the child.

The eyes not yet focusing looks directly
at you face, million questions to you, “Dad?
will you love me forever now that I dared
to forsake my safety and came outside?”

but my heart was listening…

“When I can’t sleep, will be you there
to hold me until I have no more need to cry?
and be patient if for no reason, to you,
I awake you with my pain in the night?”

“You see, to that world womb of mommy
your voice came clear and now I recognize,
that tone full of hope and little dreams
which make me feel so wanted and calm.”
