Our own Jasmin Horst Seliler is a birds whisperer, he wrote about it in his "Talking to the birds" and one has to have not only ears to listen to our feathered friends but a good heart as well.

Poem Artwork

Dedicated to Jasmin Horst Seiler

Early in the mornings he will go
to the forest, to talk to the birds,
whispering his tender questions,
sharing secrets with all of them.

The trees wear witness of words
only understood by hummingbirds
drinking the nectar from a flower
that his hand generously offered.

Early in the morning he will go,
getting by the birds outnumbered,
will hear the singing and the calls
and from a few, lots of complains.

Seeds on the palm of his open hand
they will come as they remembered
coming and leaving without fear of
being ever by the man encumbered.

Early in the morning he will go,
to whisper to all his little friends,
like he was talking into thousand
of a patiently listening God’s ears.

He wouldn’t be a least surprised
if his ear got from a mockingbird,
a few love susurrations to fly inside
the good heart of a Bird Whisperer.

"Seeds on the palm of his open hand

There are alot of thoughts bouncing off my brain with this verse...thinking about Scripture and how God knew us before we were even thought of...I pictured the seed, like me, thinking about our plantings in this world, knowing when we grow big enough to listen, we can hear our thoughts telling us we were once. . . encumbered...

Georg~ You ALWAYS do this to me! Send me off to some reality in oblivion!
Love your pen!
Love and Peace~
