Somethings not even Him will forgive, and there are wounds that will never heal, because it will fester forever no matter how many times you ask why?
George Carrol's blog make me realize that I am one of those unchristians that will never forgive the woman that gave me that open sore by killing my unborn son. And it was so long time ago...

Poem Artwork

How long has been? I was angry,
nor want to hear or wish to read,
my heart was still reeking pain
and my eyes didn’t want to see
the time that was going by
without even a look towards me.

Solitude always does it to you,
closing the doors to another wind,
shutting the windows to hope
and making your tears to run free,
alone with your thoughts realizing
how utterly alone anybody can be.

I didn’t want to turn on the lights
when dark came like a burglar in,
letting the fingers of the moon
to point at the book by my feet,
black covers with golden letters,
long ago I was compelled to read.

That was before my world ended,
a dear John letter I did received,
in the battle field where my buddies
were dying inside tents in green,
calling for their mothers at home
but nobody came before their exit.

Darkness, bend over and grab the book,
pages full of little words and yellowish,
with solitude times of no one reading
because what it can say for old sins,
but to give a flattened dry flower like an
old soul in those unread pages between.

He looked at the sky and to his Father
asking why He had forsaken Him,
like I had forsaken that dry flower
that make me remember all of she,
a wilted one without color or perfume
and which only a Bible could forgive.

A very moving write, that touches the depths of my heart my friend! Your pain can be felt within the lines. There are things in this life I don't think we will every understand. But one thing is for sure God is an all seeing God, who forgives us and gives us strength to go on. A very touching write with powerful imagery that allows the reader a glimpse of a corner of your life. Well done dear friend!
Blessings,

We can not deify ourselves when it comes to perfection. I thank God for my Lord and Savior who knows my heart and mind-including my faults. I do know that someday there will be no more tears. Those babies-our nephews-past relatives that died even before they were born, will meet us in heaven. Walking with us on Earth, when Jesus returns to reign literally. Your words have touched me. Thank you

Oh my Georg! I can hardly comment this is so emotionally charged with such long felt pain and anger, I don't know how you can live without getting rid of it! I hope maybe after all this time writing about it will purge it out of existence, for your soul sake, and for peace of mind!I'll lift it in prayer!

Love,
ET

Some things we carry around as baggage never leave us no matter how we may try. In whatever way we can we must learn to forgive those that hurt us deeply in order for us to carry forward, holding our head high...

Be always safe,
Karen

Georg...
Much of what you write has such a tone of humor to it...and I love those poems...
But then... you throw these deep, heart-felt, soulful writes in... and they touch my heart and my senses and make me want to weep for you/with you...
The heart has no place for anger in it...it is our minds that hold on to the unforgiving thoughts...I believe that is what causes the heartache...the heart and mind fighting for what each perceives is best.

Why are the saddest things in our lives those that we vividly remember in our darkness? Forgiving is the path to release of heartache, Georg; you are long overdue this release friend!

Geoerge, I am sorry about your grief & loss.
Forgiveness is personal thing.
It is not "For" the other person as much is it is For" oneself to move on & let go.
You are a wise man & know what to do for you.
Your heart is good. Your Poem Is A Memory I Thank You For Sharing Depths of Yourself George.

Georg,
How deeply sorry I am! I can feel your pain, my friend. I understand how you can never forgive and it festers inside your heart and never lets go. I am a Christian, but I still allow my X husband power over me because I cannot let go of the anger I have toward him. He was an abuser, and though it was a long time ago I still feel the pain he would inflict on me. Its hard to forgive something like that. Its no where near the pain you feel, Georg. I will pray for you, dear man.

Blessings,
~Linda

Oh my friend, don't give her anymore power to hurt you. You have suffered enough and the pain you felt is so evident in this beautifully painful write. Time to forgive, not for her, for you. Love, Bonnie

You have penned this dear friend, from the raw of your soul, wounds not yet healed, your poem drips like blood on to a hot stone, one can feel the sizzle of your hot memories with every drop, Georg, all of us including you, are capable of the worst sins in this world, we under God are one in that, maybe if you think this way, it might easy your pain, and help you to forgive, and don't forget your child is still in Gods arms when you will meet her to hold her, Bless You! I have enjoyed the rhythm and the presentation of the subject dealt. The impressive symbolism and contents made this an outstanding work, and the closing stanza of "Wilted flower in an old Bible" is written with platinum letters.

I salute You, Poet.
