Now it is the turn to talk about PeeWee aka Ed Kostro, most known as Noah (the one getting pairs of everything that can crawl, fly or slither(?), if you don't believe me just ask is long suffering wife, but not about snakes if you know what's good for you)
First I told about li'l brother Jersey Devil Ed, now is the turn for the other brother.
This one is for him.

Poem Artwork

“PeeWee, of the three brothers
is the most good looking one,”
that if you hear that deranged
woman we mercifully call Ma,
living around Hillbillies country
and giving us many a mean Pa
which would beat out the jeebezees
of any of us, an innocent child
for taking that shotgun of his
and fill with buckshot his mean ass.

Our Adonis like dumb brother
is in trouble all the freaking time,
collecting homeless birds and snakes
armadillos, vultures, dogs and cats,
and we can’t forget the day he came
with a wolf holding a lam in its mouth,
our Space Cadet brother volunteering
to BBQ the duo over open fire,
an horrified look was then provoked
when everybody agreed…(but Ma!)

He got hitched long ago with a beauty,
calling her Mean Tall Woman wife,
took the innocent girl on a boat trip
to the Snake’s Orgy kind of land,
the sneaking brother which he could
to get rid of the Apache with any luck,
but the thing is, to sail there you need
sails, or at least, schmuck, remember gas!
or you will be marooned and up to here in
the water with a zillion snakes biting ass.

The defender of everything that moves is
our PeeWee, the one mixing dogs with cats,
goes into caverns full of funny things with
a ghost in the shadows of an headless man
will invite you to pet that cold bloody thing
like it was Christmas and the thing you ask
your weird brother, howling at the moon
besides a wolf wearing a demented smile,
but he is my brother, and a silver bullet
I will never dream to put between his eyes.

(because I love my brother PeeWee)

You know "hillbilly" was a term used by the Irish to identify followers of King William? Later a term used to identify the immigrant Irish. Funny how meanings change over time huh? Nothing like brotherly love is there??

Be always safe,
Karen

What a group you are. Very funny poem Georg. Any animal lover and protector is AOK in my book. Love the line, "collecting homeless birds".

Marcia

This tribute to brother Ed is both tongue-in-cheek and reverent. I guess that just about describes our mid-western friend who is funny, wise and a fighter for the furry, feathered and sleek-skinned inhabitants of this world. No love spared here. Great write...

Hi Georg, love is stronger than a silver bullet! At least he's howling at the moon, but what else could he do after the trouble he gets himself into, like the snake orgy.... I guess he could always lick himself to make himself feel better, but howling at the moon, well, he's gotta to make the Apache happy somehow, eh? :]

Bear

“PeeWee, of the three brothers

You got that right, brother! I really look fabulous in that picture, don't I??!! (Who gave that one to you by the way, Ma, Jersey, or Mean Tall Woman - and I just shaved before it was taken, too.)

As for Snake Island, I'm gonna build a nice little cabin on it, and I hope you'll come visit us - both the snakes and the bats will be on the beach to greet you!

And thanks so much for your 'very loving tribute!'

Elder Ed, can't you keep your brothers in line? I think it's fascinating when a man howls at the moon.

I think PeeWee has a thorn in his paw, he's not howling at the moon he's just howling.
But it is nice to see brotherly love, although Jersey Devil seems eager to pop a cap in PeeWees ass

I keep a bunch of silver bullets around just in case the howler comes a'callin'...though Rufuz wouldn't let me "cap" him even just once, he loves his uncle Pee-wee way too much...he sent Rufuz a care package for Christmas last, and all he sent me was some coal, so you can well imagine what I think of him...at least someone loves him, though Georg/Edvard is getting kind of senile in his old age and ya gotta allow for that...Ed
