Dear Georg the truth is when one's conscience can rest in peace. It is a shame that people feel they have to lie and they are forever tormented. Thank you for sharing. It takes a good mind to be a lier, to remember what you have been telling others. The truth is so much easier. Thank you for sharing.

WHAT IS TRUTH?...FOR ME..."IN THE BEGINNING...GOD" IF ONE CAN RECEIVE AND BELIEVE THIS TRUTH...HEART, SOUL, BODY AND MIND...THEN, EVERYTHING ELSE AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT WE ENCOUNTER ALONG THE WAY, ON THIS LIFE'S JOURNEY...WILL FALL INTO PLACE. the location of truth is within integrity of being authentic & the truth is also an honest gift to being genuine...even if it hurts
the truth may fade in time, but always remains the same...lies always change...and Georg...your poem is just wonderful how you express "Tell me about the Truth"...

The truth is elusive but for some it is all there is and it costs them dearly, when the listeners don't really want to hear the truth it is denigraded to a lie...interesting write Georg

Some people lie so much that they begin to believe that the lies are truths...This is an eye opening poem, Georg, very deeply written.

What food-for-thought, you give us dear friend!
"...where the hell is the truth?" Ah, Georg...such an ambiguous word, truth! Perception is its synonym, methinks. It falls somewhere between what is said/written and heard/read.
This kinda reminds me of when the JAG asks Col. Jessep "I want the truth!" and Col. Jessep [shouts] "You can’t handle the truth!" I've always thought his words would have been more positive and impressive had he spoke them softly.

Where the hell is the truth?!

Sounds like a damned good question to me. They say 'the truth will set us free.' Maybe that's why so many feel like such miserable prisoners of life these days; we can't seem to find it.

How well I understand you, Georg! And there have been times, when someone can look you straight in the eye and lie bold faced....it gets to the point that when someone IS telling the truth, I second guess them!
