Bankers et all, are giving themselves revolting quantities of Money Bonuses as down the street people are going hungry.
Moses came down the mountain to find that the people had made a calf of solid gold and were worshiping it as their god.
We were never told whatever happened to that golden calf...but today we know were it is.
When man doesn’t understand the work of God
he resort to clocks and calendars for explanation,
thinking that gold can purchased but everything,
he hoards what he can’t take, but to his cremation.
So true. Many forget that coffins do not come with pockets. Something tells me that the golden calf was burned in the fire. Where did all the gold come from anyway? They wandered in the desert for 40 years with not a mall in sight. As punishment for their turning away from God no one of the original peoples ever saw the land of milk and honey. This was left for their offspring. Doesn't pay to play games with God. Hugs, J'nia
I once said to a friend of mine:
"You can't take it with you when you die." and my brilliant daughter said "Oh thats not true....the Egyptians did." lol
This certainly makes one stop and wonder...just what the hell do we value most in this world...our houses? Cars? jewels? college degrees? art? or the thing we all need most...love.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. All that gold won't buy anyone an extra half-hour when it's time to go! Another great piece.
You certainly said a mouthful of truth in short order my friend, You wonder from what book they are reading, being greedy can reside in all of us, making it an art, has to be learned, of course we have plenty of modern Universities, that teach how, but obfuscate on the wisdom, or not, inherent in what they are presenting. I would think that the wisdom of the heart is missing, another centre of learning, that is not integrated with a fully rounded human being, where compassion for ones fellow traveller would take account of his needs, but maybe that might be confused with a religious or spiritual attitude. Bless you! your voice contains much wisdom thanks for sharing it. Jasmin Horst
