This could be the dawning of that new day --
When all our cares and burdens are washed away.

We'll behold our Savior's face --
And praise Him for His saving grace.

In that place we'll need no sun --
For our light will be from the Holy One.

The scriptures have all come to pass --
The moment I've longed for will come at last.

He will split the eastern skies --
He'll wipe the teardrops from our eyes.

No more suffering, war or pain --
Only a crown for us to gain.

Immortality and disease will finally end --
While a thousand years with Christ will begin.
