some people are meant to wax poetic
i am not
i merely write down
what is in my brain
my heart
what i see and feel and hear and smell
and know
i can't pretend to wax poetic
and i know that
but
it
doesn't stop me from
wanting to
i
want to write
stuff
that is beautiful
and
sometimes
hard to figure out
something
with
depth
and
innuendoes
and
syrupy
fall off your tongue
and
into your heart
striking a chord of recognition
at the hearts of strangers
something
someone
somewhere
might read
and
say
oh
that moves me
i want that a part of my life
it is a part of my life
poetic wax
