free
think of all the wonderful things that are
free
the most important
the most awesome
air
sunshine
misty mountains
smiles
laughter
words
words
words
freeeeeee
the word in itself
just makes you want to do a cartwheel
kick up your heels and dance a jig
ah
but
we mostly get all freaked
about the stuff that costs
money money money
and we need it o no doubt
and we do what we must for it
it is
survival
but let me tell you something
don’t forget
the freebies
pay attention
to the lone flower on the side of the road
the kids laughing in the street
the birds, the bees, the ocean, the trees
the peal of a church bell
the unconcealed love in the eye of a pet
the majesty of a rainbow
all free
perks
of life
enough for me
and trust me
I take my perks when I can
you should too
it’s free baby
