there is a lot of pain
that visits this site
sad
so sad
what do you say to heartbreak
what do you say
when someone shows an aching heart
peace to you
chin up
thinking of you
I’m here for you
you sing a sad song
throw the gun away
sometimes
I read
and I wonder
man could this really be
could there be this much sorrow
this much torment
and indeed my heart is broken
I know that we are all destined to sad moments
I know that
it would not could not be life
without them
and I understand the healing that comes
from penning,
from sharing, for the writer and the reader
but
oh that I could
fix a broken heart
dry a fallen tear
wring out a frustrated life
and hang it in the sunshine of joy
bring hope shining bright as a promise
and bind fear forever in the locked cupboard
the only key upon my chest
If I were gone forever
never to return to this place
this home of many talents, this cyber space den
I would say
my friends you have my heart
may simple joys be yours
may laughter and love fill your hours
and may the pain you bring henceforth
be naught
but fiction
forevermore
ah well what the hell
my shoulders aint that big
keep writing
let it all out
I'm here for you baby

the pain is what makes us poets sometimes...we are not afraid to walk in the shadows of that ancient valley of death, but face it with what weapons we can summon in word and verse...we bare our souls...make ourselves naked...and therein lies the beauty even out of those things which can be ugly...

yes there is alot of pain here but it is a good way to vent it
and it also brings us closer to wonderful people like you.
and that make the pain a little easier
