you go through life
always trying to do the right thing
and
one day you wake up
and realize
that you’re dug in a hole
and you want out
and you start climbing
till you see light
and realize there is a better way
it’s a good thing
because you make a stand
for what is good and right and best
for
you
but somehow
people don’t always see it
folks you thought just might
see
that what you are doing
is what you need to
they figure you gotta do it this way
you gotta do it like I tell you
regardless of what
you know to be true
I can see how easy it would be
for most people to break
for most people to stumble
and fall back in the pit
for crying out loud
when all the voices say do this
even if you know what you’re doing is right
it can break Any spirit
but
let me tell you this
I LOVE MY KIDS
and if there is one among you
who
doesn’t believe that
who for one
fraction of a moment
thinks
otherwise
then
I cannot call you friend
you know me not
you never did
your words cannot not hurt me anymore
your mean and hateful
revenge
touches me not
saddens me really
that you pour this much hate into
something that never was
I know my heart
my children
do as well
all that you do
is hurt them
you can’t hurt me anymore
I’m through with your control
through with your manipulation

I never doubted it.. never doubted you.. you are a woman of strong convictions and this and all I've ever read from you rings absolutely true. Stand tall, Josie Wootten! You are an example to us all! katy.
You need not explain this to anyone, for the love you have within you for your children has and always will be proved. You need not take to heart the ill will of those who never were truly friends or even began to know or understand who you are. You must be true to yourself and secure in your own love for your children and you. Honestly, Josefina...walk proudly in your beliefs and convictions, for the Almighy One knows your heart.
