been doing that pretty heavy
these past few days
I have a counter
one who counts my sighs
says I’m on number seven just now
seven sighs
heavy ones
not your ordinary little o my sigh
but deep rooted from my gut let it all out sighs
seven
that’s a lot of let it all out sighs
and he says
what my dear is troubling you?
and I say
o nothing, nothing at all
but
there is
and he knows and I know
there is
there most certainly is
could write a tome on why I sigh
but then
what good would it be
who would listen
if they’re not listening to the sigh
why would they read the tome
do they care
about me at all
I thought they did
somewhere deep in I thought they did

Wow, seven of them, heavy duty sighing...I've had days like that. Soul ripping sighs of futileness. Mind deadening sighs of nothing matters, foundation shaking sighs of life, brilliantly penned, Josie!! :)
