And that's a promise...
He Will Never Forsake Us by h. lena jones His promises He never forgets Nor does He ever tell a lie We know He is there In good times and in bad But we shut Him out When times are good Preoccupied with the world And our own ambitions When things turn against us And we appear unable to cope Our memories of Him come flooding back We wonder if we dare seek Him out again Will He accept or reject Do we dare ask? Thing is He didn�t forsake us We forsook Him! In spite of that His love and grace Is unconditional He will never leave us Or forsake us Such is our perfect Lord and Savior Jesus Christ All we have to do !s seek Him out It's never too late For that! "...for He hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee..." What a fresh cup you always deliver: HE WILL NEVER FORSAKE US! Amen!

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness" ...and Victor is correct; even Hitler, may have been forgiven, if he trusted in the Name of Jesus, confessed, and asked forgiveness. What an awesome - faithful - God we serve! I'll bet there will be a lot of those kind of surprises in heaven, don't you?

Very well put. The fact is man has been doing this ever since the beginning. The Chosen people in the old testiment only wanted Gods help when they were put down. They quickly did what to many Christians do today when things are going well. They may praise God but sometimes that praise is hollow. The true sign of faith is to trust in God when things are not going well.

Jesus in His Divine Mercy will never forsake anyone even if that person committed the most henious sins. Hitler may has saved his soul if he asked for forgiveness, despite all. Whether he did or not is his affair. But I wish to point out that the gravest of sins can be forgiven only if we ask for forgiveness. I trust in such Divine Mercy. Victor

Lena, while reading this I was reminded of the parable of the lost prodigal son..... His father had unconditional love for his sone when he came back in shame to his father for sinning. Livin it up in the world. And the father bestowed a feast and a robe a special expensive one God welcomes us back into the fold we need to ask his forgiveness and restores us as before. he never leaves nor forsakes us. he is always Father God with open arms.... This is a wonderful instructional wisdom write filled with many of Gods truths....
Thank you for he is unconditional and never farther away than us saying Abba ..... The reminder and lesson n your poem is a powerful encouraging one.

So beautifully versed, Lena, and so meaningful for me. I am reminded, at the time of my husband's death, when my grand-niece gave me a wonderful gift: a water-proofed verse to hang in my shower. Hebrews 13:5 ...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
This was so healing for me, and it remains there 8-1/2 years later.
