The Dearest Dream Written by Rana M A slight disguise, for everytime we touch Romantic it may seem, fairly charismatic Music being made or songs being sung Constructing charms, being so ecstatic A little though I utter, fingering my guitar Fabricating lyrics to the extent of desires Speak in my success, sing along with me A rapture that my soul greedily aspires Laying down by flowers of your garden Swinging dreams into kisses and joys The thunder that you make by passion I feel every emotion, I hear every noise The oceans rising, and waves in motion Knocking every joy, the delights fly high The lusts that you carry touch my heart My cravings for you, reached up the sky

There is a melding between music and love. But it can be sad as well. George Harrison's lilting While My Guitar Gently Weeps, is a good example as it pulls on our heartstrings and fairly weeps.

Love the image of "fingering my guitar / fabricating lyrics to the extent of desires." Now that's fine poetry. Also love the line "the thunder that you make by passion / I feel every emotion / I hear every noise." These words say it all and much more.
