A rose has an aroma that goes from the nose to the heart

Filling the imagination with a brand new start

A rose is like a poem we feel deep down inside

Words that reach the heart like the ebbing of the tide

When we are feeling down and out and all alone

Bend down and smell all the roses we are shown

These roses I speak of are not all in a garden or a vase

They can be a delicate color on the cheeks of a loved one's face

All you need to do for this rose to appear

Is to show someone you know, love and good cheer

This budding rose will open in the full bloom of a smile

And light up a lovedone's face for a very long while

A rose can be found in the least likely places

Look around you my friend there are many faces

Who are in need of kindness, friendship and love

Be that rose for someone like we are taught from above

Your Father in Heaven will smile down on you today

As you spread His love to all who come your way
