To her I am an unruly child. Disturbing her every morning as she sweeps the parking lot her children vanished with the stretch of years... So now her sweeping gestures across the littered asphalt are for some extended family: fleet of foot out of touch but still... in need of a mother.

Ah, perfecto! I love the feel of this work! Makes me feel like I'm there watching it happen! And even though I already have a mother, I wouldn't be opposed to being this woman's child. That's how this poem makes me feel. Wonderful, wonderful work!!!
