I whom was made from the rib of man
have struggled hard, just to be by your side
Only to find that I have fallen short
of what I cherish the most...
my child, my man, my family.
Hear me, Black man!
I speak from my soul, from deep within my heart
From my lips, to your ears,
Oh! Hear me Black man, for I am yours
We have traveled, so far together
To let it end now Look back, to where we were and what we were
A Strong, Black, United family.
Now go my black man and grow strong
As you were meant to be
A beautiful strong Black man
For the future, is truly in your hands.
