Through lips
closed enough
to hold
passion boiling
emotion
in blood
to heat
each nerve
reaching for
fingertips
delicately curled
around a pen
subconsciously guided
by the pull
of temptation
against your wrists
to break
these chains
so naked feet
can sway
weight upon
the resistance of
a loose floorboard
half beneath a door
creaking ajar
as you begin
to speak.
