When I Feel All Alone!

Some days are just simply like that, you know?

There are people all around wherever you go

But in the mist of the hustling crowd you still feel sad and you still feel lost

As if you had no friend, drowning in a sea where you have been tossed

To and fro with no way of knowing which direction to travel toward

You even feel that you have been deserted by your Lord.

But you know that’s not so for he is always with you

No matter where you go or whatever you do.

He hurts for you and he hurts for me

But he will not intervene until we can see

That we truly need to call and ask for his power

To guide us through each dark lonely hour.

One thing which does give me hope when I need it

Is the fact that God is always there although he is sometimes quiet.

That quiet is also there for a reason, you see.

God speaks to us but he also takes time listens to you and to me.

If he were never quiet, if we never felt lost

We would never reach for him and then we truly would be tossed.

Tossed to and fro by a world filled with anger and woe.

We would not appreciate the place, he has prepared for us to go

After we have lived this life and we are ready to move on

Heading to  Heaven to which our lost loved ones have gone.

There I pray that we will live forever glad

That God helped me through the good times and the bad.

He loves you and he loves me

Oh how wonderful Heaven will be.
