Seconds

Tick, tick, the clock is on the move. We awake each morning as the sunrise beckons.

Days are made up of hours.  The hour made of minutes and minutes a group of seconds.

There is little time for us to look back, the next second has already passed by in a flight.

Perhaps we would not be so overwhelmed if we thought in terms of hours or days to give us better insight.

But the truth is we live each second to get through each minute and so on throughout our life.

We will make mistakes and clock will strike, those errors cannot be erased.

As every second or minute passes there are obstacles that must be faced.

Although we cannot change those instantaneous mistakes we make.

We can count on God’s everlasting love which forgives us for Jesus’ sake.

Oh, but we must first admit the mistakes which we are guilty of.

We must search through the seconds and minutes of life and then simply trust in his almighty love.

You see it is not a hopeless thing for God is the Master of all time.

So, be reminded of his glorious love, shown through Jesus Christ each time you hear the clock chime.
