This may not be written in an acceptable format. I simply wrote my feelings and tried to make it rhyme. I know life can seem unfair but I also know that if we exercise our faith we can feel better about ourselves. If we dwell on our woes that is all we see. If we look for the silver lining it will appear.

Have you never thought that who we are depends upon who we were?
Have you ever considered that Mom and Dad taught us to call our elders Ma’am or Sir?

Has it ever occurred to you that old wounds we have can sometimes leave us lame?
Or that sometimes it becomes an old habit which causes us to find others to blame?

All these things are part of life and we live them every one.
The secret is to find a way to deal with pain and find joy before our life is done.
We often find it easier to feel that God has left us down.
We walk through life feeling used and abused meeting each day with a frown.

It is not God who punishes us or life or Mom or Dad.
It is not our wife or husband or sister and brother that treats us bad.
It is not our children who, after all are only kids today.
It seems your own worst enemy can be yourself who when love calls will not obey.

Days will come when you find yourself feeling used and abused and feeling unappreciated.
This is the time when you need to find a way to let unselfish love be initiated.
Do not blame the world for all your woes or all your pain.
For blame gives nothing and you will find that with it you cannot gain.

Look up for your redemption draweth Nye and your reward is coming to you.
Follow the Golden rule in everything you say and all you do.
