My friend, do not abjure the possibility that evolution

For it truly would be a solution

To the question of how we came to be

But always keep in mind that evolution could not be freak accident.

Do not try to repudiate that the power was sent

By one who had all things in the palms of his hands.

The creation of all the creatures in all the lands

Cry out to him for he sustains their lives and his work is not done.

He who made the Earth and the Sun

Continues to create and we grow in the grace of his Son.

So it is important that you not disavow one

Who can bring peace to your heart and very soul, but embrace him with love.

He is the Son of God, this Jesus sent to us from above.
