“Father forgive them for they know not what they do”
Jesus cried this out from the cross, a plea made for me and you
He carried our sins upon his back and upon cross our burdens were emancipated
He willingly paid the price for our mistakes and our souls were conciliated
The price he paid was far too great
We had no hope of entering Heaven’s gate
Jesus came down off that cross and lives today
But the cost of our transgressions was paid that day
Accept the gift that Jesus freely gives
Let your soul know joy because Jesus lives
He is knocking on your door and calling to your spirit
His offer is eternal life for anyone can hear it
He has given to you the keys to the Golden Gate
Come to him, be not too late
Peace,
Dayvid
