Have you not noticed how easy it can be to condemn others? To become outraged at the actions of a sister or brother My Mama had a saying she used to say that is tried and true When you point a finger at others there four pointing back at you Our Lord Jesus once said of this state of affairs “As you judge others so shall you be judged,” so take care I remember the men who would stone the woman at the well But no one felt worthy to cast the first stone so they soon dispelled The next time you find yourself criticizing another for his flaws Remind yourself that you are no saint and must bow down when the Angel calls

I think many if not all of us have committed this sin at one time or another. Chessly, I'm so sorry someone hurt you that way. There is no excuse for this behavior. And hopefully this person who hurt you will read Lew's wonderful reminder. Merry Christmas.

Lew, I just wrote a poem that came from my heart. It was raw, and very painful to write. It was about the abuse that I live with everyday in my life. Someone in the den decided to blast me with judgments and mean words. They crushed my soul on Christmas day so I removed the post with the extremely hateful comment. I would never say those things to someone that is hurting and do believe karma will come back and hopefully smack them in the face. My father always taught me to never say anything unkind to another. If I don't have anything nice to say then I won't say it. Compassion should be expected by everyone especially at Christmas. Thank you for this beautiful message.
