It’s out with the old and in with the new
It’s the end of a year for both me and you
Two thousand Ten is now part of history
What is to come in two thousand and eleven is still a mystery
This is a perfect time for us to stop and reflect
We can contemplate and decide which goals for the New Year to select
All the while we should take time to thank God’s only son
Who died two thousand and eleven years ago and his mission had just begun
That mission was to bring absolution to you and to me
Let us turn our lives over to him and be as worthy as we can be
Let us cherish the good memories we experienced this last year
And let us rejoice and enter the New Year inundated in good cheer
