On a personal level - my soul has been beared here on the Den for all to see. I used to keep my thoughts under 'lock and key,' but am infinitely more healthy since I began to write and share.

I agree with you completely. I remember my fear of being analyzed and labeled by what I wrote when my first book was published. While my characters grow with the plot, despite all the people I have known, seen, and observed, their characterizations must be invented and pass through the chamber of my own feelings and emotions.

To write to me is the ability to put down in my own words under my own name the things I truly feel and believe in. I know though that some people do need the safety net of feeling of protection to bare their hearts and souls as well. Either way it should be the content that matters the most not the name below the title.

i've done that...especially when I was trying out different styles..it gave me an amazing sense of freedom
