You Don't Need to Tell Me
There are things you don't need to tell me,
But you do tell me anyway,
Because you don't really know me,
For if you knew my character,
And how I conduct myself and my life,
You would save your words of caution.
For one more prone to gossip,
And drama, and all that other fluff,
Which so many seem to choose,
As part of how they live their lives.
