The Clean Crisp Air sound of your voice “Sunshine On My Shoulders” Tells us to buy, Kellog’s Raisin Bran”, ‘Cause those raisins are kissed by the sun. And a wave of sad nostalgia, Washed over me as I watched, I was struck with missing terribly, The clean crisp air sound of your voice. For it was he who sung the songs, Which brought me through my teens, It was his voice that reinforced the values, Taught to me by my dad. So, John Denver, I want you to know, That you are dearly missed.

This is a very nice tribute Karen...John Denver was such a great musician and singer...even his name placed him high up in the skies...

I loved his music. It was a great shock when I learned of his death; however, he died doing something he enjoyed doing. He had to know the risks. A nice tribute.

Yes indeed he will always be missed as I remember my tears when I heard of his death but someone as great and special as him will live on forever in our hearts and through his music. I remember "Back Home Again" as being one of my favorites. Thank you Karen for sharing.

WHen I was young...many moons ago (smile) he was one of my favorite singers. There was so much beauty in his lyrics, whether about nature or love.

I miss him too Karen. When we moved to Colorado, we played his music all the way out. We met him in Aspen and the nicest most down to earth man you ever wanted to meet. Beautiful tribute to a beautiful man that had a voice of an angel. Love, Bonnie
