Drive
People with drive, a sense of purpose,
Do not sit around, wallowing in depression.
People with drive, dig in and get busy,
They toil to create an existence,
In the realm of time in which they exist.
People with drive don’t use every circumstance,
As an excuse to wilt and draw back,
They push ahead keep their eyes on the prize,
They use circumstances as reasons to move ever forward.
People with drive don’t always finish first,
But they never drop out of the race.
They arrive, at times, battered and bruised,
But be confident they will surely arrive.
