A Child Again

December 9th, 2008

 

I want to be a child again,

I want a big strong hand to hold my own.

I wish for an anchor to hold on to,

To steady me as I weather life’s storms.

 

I want to be tucked in to bed,

Have the blankets pulled up to my chin.

I want to be told it will be okay,

That there are no monsters out there to fear.

 

I long for the touch of a loving hand,

On my skin to comfort my soul.

a child again!
and to be reassured that everything is going to be alright
I think many of us can relate!

I think we all look for this kind of reassurance and love. Your heart and your writing are your strong hand though Karen and also the many fans who have read and loved your work...including myself. If closer I would offer a big warm hug and a well done for all you do for the children and others.
