This nice little poem sneaks up on you with its profound truth. One characteristic that makes humans unique is our capacity to cry. Sometimes our emotions are simply overwhelming and cannot be contained, either our turmoil, upset and sadness or even our joy. I especially like your line, "Within your tears, Are the secrets of your soul."

Your truth is especially applicable to men, Karen. I believe there are times we need to put aside the "just be a man" attitude and allow our souls to express sensitive feelings and emotions and just cry. In this respect women and children are way, way ahead of men. We need to take to heart your message: "Sometimes you just need to cry."

Thank you, Karen, for a wonderful, insightful poem!

I hope you are not too sad. It is alright to cry but you must get postitive again and go on with life. The many friends you have on the den shoud be able to help you. I do know that they help me when I am down.

So well said karen and it is okay to cry as tears are shed to help wash away the hurt and pain dear, so cry and ease the pain as I find I often do. Thank you for sharing.
