To my sister

Poem Artwork

I am haunted by unknown,

The death that has no answers,

And as I finally find sleep,

All I felt was deep, soul-deep anger.

But then I see you in the pre-dawn,

In that place between asleep and awake,

I am not dreaming but dreamy,

But aware and know it is you.

You stand, your spirit self,

In the midst of swirling white and blue light,

Soft but blinding bright all the same.

Your essence permeates the moment.

You in the midst of spirit horses,

I saw those who had gone before,

They reaching toward you,

You, palm forward to touch a spirit muzzle.

So touching. Hard not to cry.

Love every word!!

Ending could not be more perfect.

Same goes for the picture.

I am so sorry for your loss, Karen.

I am so glad that you have all those wonderful memories
to help you keep her close.

Always, and Then,

Phyllis

Beautiful! And so emotionally and spiritually honest and open. A very healing picture of your sister in her true love-environment beyond the veils of consciousness. A stirring confirmation that life goes on... Bless you, Kate xx

So hauntingly beautiful Karen, when we lose someone special in our hearts we often see them in dreams, in the mists, in a crowd etc...I like to think that their spirits are always close by but in a better place where they await us...

I am so sorry, I must have deleted you off the tracking list by mistake because you aren't there, I just checked. You are now.

First of all it is good to see that you are writing. And it is doubly good to see that you are writing positive about your sister. It reminds me of the time Nipper and I heard Dottie say, "Darling."

This poem really touched me. I feel that I know you. I read "Show and Tell," and in that sense I DO know you, so anything that touches you somehow touches me also. That's a natural fact, Karen.

Your sister is smiling.

Heck, there is so much pain here.
Brilliantly written, but such a damn shame.
