We are soon to begin a dollar drive,
One dollar a day will go so far.
For my sister was given three years of living after diagnosis,
where just a decade ago she wouldn,t have had that.
So Rhoads Six is set up to keep going with the research,
To give comfort to patients dealing with this disease,
And to award scholarships to nurses as well as,
To students of veterinary studies like my sis.
Please, if you will, help me get the word out,
So research can do its magic,
Perhaps, someday leukemia will be conquered,
For the price of just a dollar a day!
