I recognize her amid the greenery:
an extraterrestrial look-alike,
bulging eyed, triangular face, long hind legs,
arms like forelegs, a color and shape of the plants,
sitting like in prayer before a meal,
starts munching a tree frog.
Her mate lingers in the background,
slowly swings atop in a breeding position.
After a few minues,
I gasp, read about it but didn't believe it,
she jerks his head off,
savors the delicacy of the brain.
To my amazement,
he wriggles and gyrates not missing a stroke,
nor a second of the ecstasy.
