Bob's arms pulled me close,
seawatered lips found mine,
salt stung my chapped mouth,
sending a flush of excitement
throughout my being. Gusts
hugged our intense bodies,
lapping waves tickled my feet,
gooseflesh covered my body,
causing my stomach to feel quizzy.
Bob's body heat warmed my inner recesses,
leaving me eager and persuasive...
I replied yes to his proposal.
It's been decades since that night,
even now I reflect on our passions.
Water no longer excites me,
brine has been tasteless for years.
Squalls nip...leaving me cold.
Bob's voice often interrupts
split second recollections of our past.
