Outside a storm rages...

Outside a storm rages,
gusts blow, rains drench,
the earth's surrounded by darkness,
everything's bleak and melancholic.
There's no time for obscurity,
Your light shines within like a beacon,
gloom vanishes as Your radiance nurtures.

I'm not afraid of it dimming,
it's a valuable part of my existence,
living, breathing, and renewing,
as we communicate day after day.
Discouragement or fear doesn't enter my dominion,
I know You listen, guide, comfort, and review,
keeping all obligations Your word promises me.

No, I'm not afraid of You leaving me,
Your imprints are embedded in my heart,
sealed by Your Almighty salvation and grace.
I may wane but You will give me strength,
to face tomorrow, jump another hurdle,
overcome my weaknesses and fears...
