The moon lifts up into the Heavens over me...
silhouettes creep into the scene as the earth lightens.
Long wavering arms in the distance beacon me...
a reverberation in the countryside plays music.
Clouds race...
searching for a place to mingle,
accumulate into one big rain cloud.
Stars wane from the sky,
as twinkling smiles lose luster.
I lie on the mountaintop...
captivating the beauty of the moment.
Bats dip to and fro,
fireflies create a backdrop of lit candles.
Robert lies down beside me,
pulls me into his arms...we've shared years as one,
entrusting our union long ago,
sealing it with love, trust, hunger, and plans.
We killed time all day...
waiting for the moon to rise and entice us here.
His warm lips...natural upon my mouth,
arms embrace my body...fervor as strong as the wind.
Whispers of assurance, affection, and happiness,
arouse our flesh...
as we put our passions into a motion of true love...
watch as the moon loses its color,
leaving us caught in an everlasting love.
