Hello Lord, it's me again...

Hello Lord, it's me again,
I want to converse...I need You my friend.
My eyes are dim as I search for Your hands,
don't know why I'm empty...I cannot understand?

Winds stir controversies throughout the country,
the road is full of adversity, evils, wars, and bribery,
causing confusions, fears, and doubts...
we're treading on violent seas bobbling about.

It's hard to know who's a deceiver and who's not,
the world is of many ethnic backgrounds...a massive lot.
Who do we trust as we travel through these vast lands,
a deal once was sealed by the shake of a hand?

What happened to honesty, trust, morals, good deeds?
Did they get swallowed up by a powerful sea?
I long to see the times of eons ago,
where people agreed and travel the globe.

There's killings in our streets and robberies by gangs,
we need freedom and peace from all of our pains.
The roads we travel are full of immorality and shame,
we ask for Your help in Your precious name.

We're a race placed upon this magnificent homeland,
to live and enjoy all things You gave to every man.
It once was free of greed, bitterness, and wrongs,
we've worked to create a Country proud and strong.

We've gone awry on these roadways we've tread,
making life miserable, fearful, and a dread.
Lord, awaken the hearts and souls of all mankind,
grant us a chance to mend the wrongs we've intertwind.

Lift up the people of the world to see Your light,
allow us to get back to the basics of an ethical life.
Lead the way as we follow Your pathway,
help us never to fall short and to go astray.
