God knows my moral fibers
its branches touch many in life
seeks to display love and honesty
gives others a smile, a word, some kindness
helps less fortunate to perceive others do care
my twigs desire to speak and leave imprints.

My stalk desires to overflow, inking words of meaning
allow readers to feel a sense of affection and concern
let my trunk stand firm as a witness of truth
build a solid foundation for others to observe
permit its decorum to be an example
maintain its deadwood to eliminate deception.

I want the seeds from my boughs to drop
propagating a radiance sparkling with warmth
demonstrating He lives in the inner part of my spirit
let my limbs display an openness of my concerns
touch people I come in contact with daily
bless them with a knowledge of God's true love.

This trunk desires to convey a pure authenticity
never to deceive or lead anyone to a facade image
I want it to shine in certainty and leave a mark
remaining in the minds of those I touch in life
leave an impression others do care and sense their needs
I'll always be there to listen, show love, and understanding.
