We are right to be alarmed - but once we DO cross over one line of communication, we get lulled into a false sense of security and think that everything seems quiet and is therefore OK. We are so ignorant of how we are capable of being so watched and scrutinised for every word we breathe - and every thought we have, almost!! And what we disclose about who we are and our own personal details about out lives without even being aware of it is horrific to say the least. Security and Privacy seem nothing more than gazeous facades. Good write. Kate xx

recently there was an incident where a hoax call was called into 911, supposedly from a small child saying her mother was lying on the ground and hung up ... there was a widespread search trying to locate the child via the cell phone ... it took a week due to be a somewhat old cell phone but they did locate where the phone call came from and established it was a hoax ... all are in big trouble ... yes, big brother in in our heads ...

Man, you are SO right! I work in computer security, and have worked at the Pentagon, and various other places, and you would not believe what they [THEY] are doing to track people. Hey, GPS is now being put into virtually every mobile communication device. Even Kroger tracks you with your Kroger card, Blockbuster tracks which movies you rent. You and I are 'tagged.'
